Just when it looked like the Bruisers would get tattooed (to quote Dave Seal), we gathered our wits about us and proceeded to whittle away at the TOAD lead while holding them at bay, before giving a serious tension headache to the TOADs manager in the last inning. See last year's game report if you want to feel REALLY good about this game.

Notable plays include a Jenny-Kent play to get a runner at first, a KarenC-Ann play to get a runner at second, Bob making all the outs in the 5th inning, and a KarenC "Look Scott, I didn't drop it!" catch at third in the 6th inning. Blooper reel credits go to an infield Keystone Cops-style miss of a little looper, and Anders chasing KarenT home in the 7th inning. RBIs were knocked in by KarenC, Scott, Andy, Anders (3), Bob (3), JohnK, Mike, Ann, Kathy, JohnD, and Mary Beth.

NEXT WEEK: Tuesday May 25 against the Wild Turkeys. I know we'll be missing Mikael, Andy, Kent, Renaud, Kathy and probably MikeF. Everyone else PLEASE be sure I know (either way) whether or not you'll be at the game. The game reminder will come out early (Friday instead of Monday) so I have time to round up more players if I need to.
