Round Table Diners: KarenT, Anders, Andrew, Renaud, Mary Beth, Cassie, Ellie, JohnD, Kent, Simon, Dave, Scott, KarenC, Nancy and Marc (who was the unfortunate victim of a poorly scheduled review which caused him to miss the game... and then they put him off until tomorrow anyway!).

Despite finding out which team in the league had more O and A than the TOADS, the sun was out, the temperature was nice, and the field was mowed. If anyone ever needed a reminder that sliding is not permitted in C League, they only had to look at Travis from the P.Tigers who broke both his leg and ankle sliding into home plate a couple of weeks ago. Ouch!
Bruiser play was actually pretty good. We held the P.Tigers to zero runs twice, including a 1-2-3 second inning. Defense was good, with good catches by Scott and Dave in the outfield, and 5-3 plays to get a couple of runners coming into first base. Our only home run was by Andrew in the fourth inning, and RBI's were hit in by Andrew (2), Kent (2) and Mary Beth.
Our next game is Thursday June 8 on field H3. We'll be playing the Homers again, so we'll be missing Scott (but you can still use him as a landmark to find the field). We'll also be missing BobbyJoe, Shaunna, and MikeG. Some time between now and next week, please be sure I know if you're coming or not.
See you next week!
Karen :)
