It was a nice day for a game, we got to scare the kids who were drawing chalk lines in our outfield, and it turned out to be a really close game. Cinco Equis stacked all their best hitters together in the top of the order, but we were able to take advantage of the rest of their lineup.

We got some really good Bruiser defense by Jenny and Marc with their amazing catches of line drives at second base in the first inning and at first base in the third inning, respectively, and a double play by Bob and home plate tag of a runner by Kenny, both in the second inning. Hitwise, we had home runs by Brendan and Bob, and a triple by Anders. RBIs were knocked in by Andy, Kenny (2), Brendan, Bob (3), and Steve.

And look! No mercies!

Next game: Thursday 7/22 against the Paper Tigers on field H3. So far, I know we'll be missing Scott, Renaud (for 4 weeks), Andrew, possibly Andy, possibly Kathy, and possibly Ann. Everyone please let me know whether or not to expect you.

See you next week!

Karen :)
